Nikon D800 tethered problem
« on: March 16, 2013, 04:54:02 pm »

Hello,

I was on location on Friday shooting with my Nikon D800 tethered to my Mac Book Pro. I had just uploaded Capture One 7.1 and installed OS X Mountain Lion. I had notched a few days earlier that with the new soft wear installed the Nikon seemed to be much more stable.

Back to Friday. As I was shooting the models my assistant stopped me to say there was a problem. What had happened as I was shooting the raw images the settings I had of 100ISO and a colour temp of 5750 Kelvin's changed to 400ISO and 3550 Kelvin's in an instant.

So I reset the camera to the original settings and when back to shooting. About an hour later bang it does it again so I shut the Capture soft wear down and continued the shoot using Nikon Camera Control which didn’t skip a beat for the rest of the day.

I hope someone can tell me what happened.

Ciao

Simon

Have you saved any Presets / styles etc?

Any custom presets on the camera that could recall that setting?
