Hi,

For me the TVC-33S. For me the folded lebgth is very important, as I normally carry it strapped to my backpack. Also, I'm a short person, so I can survive without the extra length. I use a leveling base and an Arca D4 geared head. I am very happy with this combo.

I have also Gitzo GT3541LS legs (I think that's the name). The RRS legs are much better, IMHO.

The tripods I have right now are:

Manfrotto 055 (aluminium)
Velbon Sherpa Pro 630 CF
Gitzo GT3541LS
RRS TVC-33S

Heads are:

Acratech Ultimate (very nice but I got rid of it)
RRS BH40
RRS BH55
Arca D4

I'm really happy with the D4, after replacing Arca Swiss QR with RRS level type QR.

Best regards
Erik

Well, when are ya wanting to pull the trigger? I ask cause for the most part, all the tripods except the TVC-33 Versa Series 3 Tripod & the TVC-33S Versa Series 3 Tripod seem to be on backorder...

FYI, they list the items as "on backorder" but my experience has been they ship out within the week. Strange practice.
Oh, yeah, I've got the 33 and it is one awesome tripod. Fully extended with the camera mounted the viewfinder lines up almost perfectly with my eyes (I'm 6').
