Stompin' Tom Connors - R.I.P.
« on: March 14, 2013, 06:18:47 PM »

My wife and I attended the memorial service for Stompin' Tom last night. While not huge fans, his music has found a place in our "family culture" and his CD "A Proud Canadian" has been just about worn out with our travels across Canada and while living in the UK and Tanzania.

Here's a photo from the Memorial. As well I've posted a YouTube video of photos at http://youtu.be/Yw9iBVGOdpU

Thanks for all the great music, Tom, and for reminding us how great a country we live in!

Saw him at Place des Arts in Montreal in the mid 1970s, a terrific show.
