« on: March 13, 2013, 07:29:06 pm »

I remember clearly some years ago a clever new product, not a moving but rotating back for hasselblad V on 4x5 graflok-cams. It was very expensive 1500 euro?
But i cant find its make anymore. I am sure someone has seen it. Was it kaidan?

http://www.multistitch.com/

This is an option too.Less expensive, but rather inconvenient.
First you put on the ground glass with a mask....
then you remove it, put on the adapter plate take one shot....
then remove it to rotate it 180 and do a second shot....
You then have to remove and reverse the adapter plate and repeat
the last two steps. When you are done in order to stitch the images you also have to rotate them.

Kapture Group makes a much better one nothing has to be removed to take shots.

Much nicer solution, just a bit larger.

Oh crap.... now I'v pissed off B Cooter again for posting an animated gif. ;)

I have a in-depth article as well as some extensive videos about the Multistitch product coming up next week, let me know if you want a sneak peak. I believe the H solution is coming soon, but it may already be out.

I dont see a reason why we cant use the cheap quad-rotation-adapter from china shooting 4x 55mm film hasselblad for 4x5. 230-280 usd.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rotate-adapter-Hasselblad-V-back-For-Linhof-4x5-Camera-cameras-/281590563632
here are two shenhao-solutions. found here
http://forum.luminous-landscape.com/index.php?action=printpage;topic=71509.0

in the first part the man is a bit misleading us by mentioning 6x17cm with FF-DSRL attached....5 shots! All wrong.
2nd adapter 15 shots.
rhinocam is the way to go. by removing one element one can attach it to 4x5.
btw: hartbleis rz-adapter for 645 which could have been used with the 645-cam-adaptered rhinocam will not be produced. Stefan Steib announced recently. They are working on a different solution.
So why using multistitch?
I will dig out my roundshot with grandagon 65mm and 26mm shift upwards(downwards when a u-shape is used) only 14 kgs with tripod and stuff...
