A cat.
« on: March 08, 2013, 02:57:33 am »

The cat was sleeping on my car. I saw the morning light striking its face.
Here are 2 different shots. I zoomed in on the B&W.

Top one, definitely. BW version is cropped too tightly IMO.

By way of explanation, somewhere there is a dictum posted by Mr. Reichmann which essentially states:  No cats!

Even worse! The rumor has it that S&P and Moody are going to downgrade this site due to the proliferation of cat pictures.

And if we could also do something about all those God awful, over saturated sun set/sun rise images we'd really be on to something.

Here's a simple solution: Change the name of the thread to " Dog."
That should get it past the censors.

You can: avoid specif¡ic sections, as do I.

Downside? I have to take other people's opinions that there really are lots of those early/late sun images about. I can live with that.

No No No........Michael has stated that every photographer is entitled to ONE cat picture per year. Only one.

This was in response to someone chiding him over a shot of a cat and urn from Argentina.

Every photographer is allowed one cat picture a year.

I simply figured that I'd get mine out of the way early.

I don't think the reflection adds much to the photograph. I might have shifted the composition up.
