Wayne is correct, no single or pairs cleanings with the 9600. My best advice would be to remove the right end cover and leave if off. That way you can keep an eye on the wiper blade and pump/cap station and clean them when necessary. For many years I have run two 7600 printers, down to one now along with the 9900. I still use the 7600MK for specific jobs and it still produces some fine prints. I usually remove the pump/cap station every 6 months and give it a thorough cleaning. The wiper blade is of course part of that assembly and can be cleaned at the same time. You can also clean the blade while on the machine, but it's much easier and more effective if removed. Not a difficult task at all, check the service manual. I have a couple of new blades but don't remember where I bought them. I'll try to find that information and pass it along if possible.
Good luck with your 9600. Treat it right and it will treat you right.
