One of the really amazing things about the San Francisco Bay area is that not only is the immediate surrounding area amazing for landscape photography, but the nearby national parks are mere hours away. Big Sur, Kings Canyon and Yosemite are 4 hours away, with dozens within 6-8 hour distances.
On this particular morning I shot the Golden Gate from Marshall Beach, and drove to Yosemite for sunset. With a car, some time and patience, Northern California is a great place to be as a landscape photographer!
Does anyone have any recommendations for similar distance point-to-point day trips in the bay area?
