Vistek alternative in toronto ?
« on: February 22, 2013, 04:06:42 pm »

I have been a long time customer of vistek, buying all my printing supplies and printers from them over the years. Recently the bad service I have been putting up with for a while has gotten to me and i'm having a hard time staying a loyal customer. Getting the simplest product is often a waste of an hour. Between the waiting to get a sales person, waiting for the stuff to be found in the warehouse in the basement, not getting return phone calls or e-mails and the general lack of competence I'm wondering what the alternative is. Who else in toronto sells Hahnemühle and other products such as epson pro printer supplies and keeps on top of their stock ?

Any tips would be great.

My experience with Vistek has been generally better than what you are describing; however, here in Toronto the three other mainstream pro-retailers who come to mind are Henrys (Queen and Church), Downtown Camera (Queen and Church), and for Epson supplies, as well as some other papers, CCBC (Division of Intermedia) on King and Spadina is excellent. Tricera is also strong on Epson supplies.

Speak to Kristin in the printer dept at VISTEK. I've been dealing with her for years and she's always delivered.

I get all my printing supplies at CCBC on King near Spadina.
