Forecasting 5 inces over the next three days. This was shot a little before noon CST today. Lovely, eh?

I take it the horizontal lines are a passing vehicle, not lens flares. At first I though: "strangest lens flares I've ever seen."

You are correct. If I had left the image in color, this would have been more apparent, but I really liked how the black and white looked, more.
