Testing a couple of TS lenses over the weekend I found something peculiar. The Canon TS 24 worked fine, but the 17 didn't. For some reason in aperture priority, the camera chose a much higher speed than needed. Switch over to live view, and the camera and lens work fine. Tried the same lenses on a 7D body they had in the shop and both worked fine in live view or view finder.
What could be the problem? Anyone had a similar experience?
Salesperson suggested I needed a firmware update (my camera is about 3yr old and never had an update). Is it possible this may be the problem?
