Asteroid Makes Landing in Russia

Another flagrant instance of news manipulation: it was just the North Korean rocket falling out of orbit.

I liked this photo from Meteosat-10;

showing how high in the atmosphere it broke up.

If some Russian calls round with a suspicious looking pod & the suggestion that you sleep with it under your bed, politely refuse. Just to be safe.

In Spain, you refuse the Russians nothing: they have ways of bending you to their will. Such as when buying your house cheaply even though you hadn't thought of selling. I'm led to believe that Rod Stuart and 007 (the real one from Scotland) both found rouble offers they didn't choose to refuse down in Marbella, though this could just be gossip.
