So God Made a Photographer
« on: February 15, 2013, 10:37:39 am »

The clever folks at Santa Fe Workshops have released 'So God Made a Photographer' their ode to the photographer based upon the highly-acclaimed Super Bowl RAM Truck commercial 'God Made a Farmer'.

God I love this! I hope you do too...

If you claim the existence of a benevolent, photographer-creating Deity, then how do explain the presence of Instagram?

Fun stuff, but they left out the countless hours on photography forums! :P

FYI;

This video should have been about Brian Smith.

He's a pulitzer prize winner, President of Editorial Photographers (EP), shot the famous photo of Greg Louganis hitting his head on the diving board, has photographed about every celebrity on this planet (don't know about other planets), owns more equipment than B+H, gets up in the morning working on photographs, goes to bed doing the same.

What's cool is Brian is the real deal.  Works with large crews, works as a sponsored photographer from the largest imaging company in the world, (and does so with honest integrity).

He also isn't above putting 250 lbs. of equipment on his back, tossing it into the SUV and driving all night for an editorial shoot.

What's double cool is Brian has done multiple series shooting themes that are serious to humorous featuring the elderly as subjects.

He does it with respect, which is triple cool.  (for everyone under 30 change cool to Kewl).

I talk to Brian every two weeks, if I'm lucky and no matter what the subject, it always turns to photography.

Yea, Brian is the that guy that does it good.
