I think I posted this before, but for the benefit of the new members with the aversion for "digging through the old dust," here it is again (thought a slightly different/wider crop):

No way, with that bellicose eye, this bison doesn't show any admiration. I'm with Eric on this!

It looks wary to me, ready for fight or flight. Maybe you interrupted it's contemplation of gravity.

This young buck, his sister and possibly his mom walked across a yard in Illinois yesterday at dusk.

I think he tried to protect them by lowering his not yet developed horns at me and holding his ground.
