Looking to acquire a SCSI to FireWire adapter to get my old SCSI slide scanner to talk to my MacBook Pro either under OSX 10.8.X or under Windows XP. Have tried an Adaptec SCSI to USB adapter that is supposedly drivable in these environments using VueScan software, but so far no such luck.
Honestly not looking to spend more than would be better spent toward a replacement scanner so if you've got one you'd be willing to off-load, please let me know.
Any general feedback about the workability of such an adapter from your experience would also be helpful and appreciated.
