Use canon 8400 software on 8300...

I'm not sure if this has been discussed here...
8300 users can update software and take advantage of some new features canon offers to 8400 users such as gallery wrap as an option in photoshop/ automate/

I'm less clear about if the updates allow any additional improvement in the actual printing. Does anyone know more about this?

Hi,
I have updated the to the latest software and it does have new features, the Photoshop plugin has some features added, also the Canvas gallery Wrap plugin works fine but oddly you can't save anything for later use which I find it a little stupid, but in print quality I don't know if there is any difference.
