Diffractive material used in DNG Flat Field
« on: February 05, 2013, 12:21:21 am »

What do you recommend for the diffractive material used in the DNG Flat Field demo provided in the LR4 update with Eric Chan? Also, can this material be used when doing custom white balance?
Thanks for the help.

Best regards

Hi,

I use a piece of opaline glass, but you can also use white plexiglass or similar. Just make sure it's a neutral (white) color, and diffuse enough to produce a nice uniform average of the scene in front of the camera.

Cheers,

I use one of these.   Handy, light.
