How in the freaking world does anyone get that limber? Oh yeah...youth works wonders, eh. Nice shot but I'm afraid were that me, it would also serve as a coffin.

It's the human landscape version of an Escher print - takes a while to work out where everything goes ...

I'm afraid were that me, it would also serve as a coffin.

I would say, then, that you have a non-standard body type!

HI guys, I'm new to this part of the site. I see different names here except from Erik.
This is a wrought copper ring taken yesterday. Hope you like it.

Hi,

This is a shot I made with my new Zeiss Planar 120, a Hasselblad lens mounted with a tilt adapter on my DSLR. The image uses tilt to achive sharpness from foreground to background. Im still working on sorting out some issues with internal reflections in the adapter, I'm waiting for matte black paint I have ordered.

I like this shot.

The full size image is here:
http://echophoto.smugmug.com/Travel/Stuff/i-FFw2KvS/0/O/20130327-_DSC1156.jpg

In this image I played with a two step sharpening technique, first full capture sharpening, followed by a unsharp mask at radius=3 and amount=0.25 in Photshop. The idea is to improve microcontrast in capture sharpen and than push low frequency detail a bit with a subtle unsharp masking.

GPS: 58°45'20" N 17°18'41" E

I think aperture was f/11 but I'm not sure. This is a very manual lens so aperture is not saved in EXIF.

As said I used tilt to achieve a plane of focus going from foreground to background. Peaking was helpful with that I first adjusted tilt so I got peaking indication on both foreground and background than I went into 11X times magnification in Live View and adjusted two points for optimum focus.

Exif data: see below.

Best regards

Interesting way to get "depth" with a short telephoto. That might make an interesting discussion sometime. A very pleasant image.

Hi Guys, im new around here, loving reading all the information you have :)

So here is a recent photo of mine..All taken on pretty old equipment to be fair, after reading about all the top spec stuff most use here I had to think twice about posting! Im using a Canon 20d and a lot of old Primes, the Yashica TLR was taken using a Pentacon 1.8 lens on f11 iirc, with strobes and a ring light.

For me it is about the idea and not the kit.

I like it a lot.

I took this shot this spring, far from any feeders  ;D.  This is an Anna Hummingbird, photographed on a beach on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada.  The Anna stay year round, and exhibit an amazing range of colours, depending on the light.

By way of example, this is the same hummer in different light...
