I like trees. I don't care if they are in two threads.. Click em for a larger version..

Fallen tree, Independance Creek in West Texas.

Tree on Enchanted Rock, Texas hill country

Some frozen trees in Big Bend National Park.

B&W or color ?
been playing around with some oldies and thought this might be a good candidate for this thread.
Shot with a Olympus E-3 & Zuiko 8mmFE.
Distortion correction in ACR using a Nikon 10mm FE preset and adjustment since Adobe doesn't like Olympus  ::)
Did a B&W conversion and filter adjustment to add contrastand drama to the sky, then a warm brown -gray duotone to soften.
I think I also might need to shorten the foreground a little and bring the trees down lower in the composition?
 Ideas?

David

Saw one this weekend in the Texas Panhandle that I had to make a U-turn to go back and shoot. It was very lonely and appeared to be a victim of the 2011 drought.
