Sunrise 5 minutes from home
« on: January 08, 2013, 04:15:08 am »

These were taken 5 minutes away, on foot, from where I live. In the summer, this beach (Carcavelos, near Lisbon) is always packed, but in December? Not so much, especially so early in the day. Having recently purchased the EOS M plus the 22mm lens, I grabeed a small tripod early in the day, and went for a relaxed photo session during low tide.

Kind regards

A nice set, indeed! You're lucky to live near such a nice place. I must also congratulate you because it's not always easy to keep one's eyes "open and new" in familiar places.

Great shots!  I must say, #2 is my favorite by a lot... just LOVE that marbled-looking beach.
