Actually my exterior thermometer tells me it's 62 degrees and overcast outside, Chris, so it's not cold here. Got up into the seventies today. But I want at least three days in the seventies in St. Aug. That brings out the tourists, and I want mucho tourists when I'm there.
I know about Panama City. In 1954 I spent a couple months at Tyndall AFB going through intercept controller's school. My wife and I and toddler son lived out in Mexico Beach, which, in those days was heavily populated with Air Force folks. One night a guy who lived near us was flying around getting some night time in a T-33 when something went wrong. He set the airplane down in the water just off Mexico Beach, got out, and walked home, dazed but unhurt.
