Here are some more pictures from the camera. There are couple of red arrows in the pics indicating wear marks, they are all minor however.

I also have a Really Right Stuff L-bracket for this camera in case someone might be interested to purchase that along with the body.

Did you take all those landscapes on the 1Ds Mk III?

Impressive!

Mostly the photos on my site were taken with a Mark III, some older ones with the first 1DS and most recent with a Nikon D800e.

I looked at your website. Impressive landscape photography. MAy I ask which lenses you use on the Nikon. The pictures look so sharp, but still tonality is great. Sorry for taking it a little off topic, kind off a free bump.

Another free bump - I'd also like to know how you achieved that lovely tonality with the Canons. What print size can you get up to with the Mk III shots without them deteriorating?

@ heinrichvoelkel In my view the D800e that I used in my trip to Iceland required very good glass to shine.
And so I used two Zeiss lenses the Distagon 21mm and the Planar 100mm and two Nikon lenses the 24-70 and the 70-200. Loved the color of the Planar, absolutely great tonal range from the start.

@ mitchino It can be subjective to say what may someone may find deteriorating.  I would say I can print very well on A1 with the Mark III. Having said this I tend to be quite difficult to please with print quality.
For tonality the most important thing is good start at the Raw process level, color correction and some separation at the Raw stage is key. After that I try to create further tonal separation when necessary in varying ways. However from this point on (in PS) I would say it's sort of an illusion of better tonality that can be achieved as opposed to actual better quality. Sometimes illusion works but it can be tricky and for those who don't print or mostly judge images online even more so. In any case there is a lot to be said about tonalities.

Probably for another forum, but I'd love to see a tutorial on how you go about getting that gorgeous separation/tonality in your shots.
