Assume you would like some feedback on this so: I am sorry to say I don't think this has worked in this instance. There are some interesting atmospherics at the top of the frame, but that thick band of blue sky in the middle is banal and the extreme water highlights left of frame are distracting. I do like the leading line 'wake' created by the boat, but it doesn't take me anywhere and my eye is left to wander around the frame; distracted by the highlights in the water and the clipped clouds. I hope thats constructive and helpful.

Dunno what this does for Chris, but it certainly helps me as I gaze over my collection from the year, wondering what makes a good image.

Interesting concept, Chris, but it might work better in mono.

Mono

I think that's a lot better than the colour version but it still lacks any real focal interest.
