Friendly and cooperative bugger. Gave me a lot of time to play. Constructive criticism very welcome.

No problem. Nice shot.
Those eyes are freeky.
Welcome to LuLa by the way.

Thanks, Tony!
I'll look around for a landscape to post instead, though. My noob-ness is sticking out too much with
that spidey shot.

Uh-oh. Nothing suitable to be found. I guess I'll have to punt.

Have a look around the site.
User critiques in particular has a fairly wide variety of photographic genres on show.
I've seen most genres exhibited on the site.

Will do. I came here on a recommendation and like what I see. I'm mostly lurking so far, though.

Well, this is recent. I've had this D800E only a little over a week. Any constructive criticism, again, would be very welcome.
I had a little vignetting, which I cropped out. I think it was due to the CPL.

+1 for the spider. The other one is just ordinary.

Since Michael often posts street shots I doubt he'd agree that LuLa is limited to landscapes.
But welcome, Hap, to LuLa. I like the jumping spider. He's one of the good guys.

Thanks. I thought I might catch some grief for posting macro, so I grabbed the first landscape-like thing I found. It's really just a throw-away.
The spidey is the keeper.

Don't fret about it. All sorts of stuff are accepted and appreciated. That's a nice shot: I like what I assume to be a thread of silk on the right.
Welcome.

I'd keep Boris (I'm old and can remember the Who) and seriously consider whether I would keep the landscape....

Definitely, Tonysx! Boris (I'm also old enough
) stays, the landscape is trash.

Thanks! That was with a D90. Hope I get a chance to do something like that with my D800E.
I got some snowy landscapes today, so I hope I can find something in there worth sharing.
