The unofficial JMR x-mass trEEtment thread
« on: December 19, 2012, 01:56:11 pm »

I was sooooo waiting for JMR to post an image of a christmas tree with his characteristic abstraction treatment. So in order to encourage him, I thought I might as well start a show-me-your-christmas-tree thread. Please feel free to contribute.

I can't seem to quite hit that balance between movement and abstraction that JMR seemed to capture quite consistently in his images. On the other hand, I got some overdone images that somehow have an appeal to them, but not really sure what it is. Starts to look more like fireworks than xmas tree to be honest…

I kind of like the "fireworks" effect in the third one.
But I agree, they don't quite have the mysterious pizzazz that JMR gets consistently. Good try, though.
