PixelGenious Sharpener Activation
« on: December 17, 2012, 12:58:15 pm »

Did anyone have trouble activating PixelGenious Sharpener
I had to reinstall the program and now when I bring it up in Photoshop 6 I am ask to activate.
I do that.
It then comes back and tells me the following.
(24)Timeout(Connect failed in tcp_Connect0)
I had previously activated the first time I installed and it was okay.
I have been in contact with support but what they ask me to do I can not figure how to do.
Also I do not belong to eSelerate.
The support has responded quite quickly
Thanks Ken

I'm sure Jeff Schewe will be able to help better, but I think you need the latest update for CS6 (I may be wrong)

I found the cause of my problem.
This is a new computer and it was Norton Anti-virus that was the culpit.
Once removed I was able to register immediately.
The support people were very good.
Even though they never mention about the virus program

Actually, I was in Hawaii on vacation...and PG Tech Support is the best method of getting support because we use the mail form as a database for tracking bugs and issues...that's what it's there for.
