C1 7.0.1 Printing Problem
« on: December 07, 2012, 10:25:45 pm »

Hi,
I cant seem to get the print to match that of my monitor. The prints I made from C1 7.0.1 were either too dark or too dull. The same images printed from LR and PS were fine. I am on 2008 MP, OSX 10.7.5, PA271 monitor and output to a HP Z2100 printer, all properly calibrated. I can't figure out where did I do wrong. Has anyone experienced similar issue? Attached are a couple screen shots of how I set up the print module in C1 and OSX. Any advice is appreciated!

Under C1 6, I submitted a support ticket about problems getting print colors correct. The response from Phase One was that I had to output the RAW first to a TIFF, and then print from the TIFF. This worked, but I find it very strange, as no other RAW converter requires this extra step. If I have to produce the large file for printing, I might as well print from LR.

I haven't tried printing directly from C1 7.

Good luck,

Matt
