ipf8300 turning off randomly

Hey all,
   it seems I'm not out of the clear yet. over the last week or so I keep noticing that my ipf8300 is off. My general practice is to leave the machine on 24/7. over the last few days I've come to sit at the computer, looked over and see that the thing is off. The printer is in my home and I'm completely unaware of any power flashes that we've had. it seems to be happening over night and nothing else gives any indication that we lost power. Is there any reason that a printer with the latest firmware would go from sleep to off?

There's a new setting for shut-down timer in the most recent firmwares. I don't know of any way to configure it via software, but the setting is accessible from the control panel. Go to the Settings/Adjustment menu, scroll down to the System Settings submenu and you'll find that you can turn this "feature" off.
