Anyone know of promotions on the HP Z3200 44" printer?

Better snap this one up quick!  Must be a really good printer!

About to pull the trigger on an iPF8400, about $2700 after rebate and trade-in-less trade-in.  But without that blatant appeal to my innate cheapness I would probably go for the Z3200 if only for the relatively painless, almost iSis-like spectrophotometer.  Must say the old 8300 has been a really, really good doggy, in spite of too much abuse.

So I guess you're turning hard core!  Hope those shows are paying off.

Ah canna predict how the shows will go, but found the ability to produce profiles invaluable, and have come to like the z3100. Ah wouldna mind getting another of these, albeit with a 44” girth, but production cycles being what they are, it’s no a good idear to buy yesterday’s tech - she’ll be a sad orphan sitting a the kerb sooner rather than lata.

The one you linked was just a whisker high on the cost, but at least the shipping charges were reasonable, if ah can forget that the last’n included free shipping. Plus ah was able to sweet talk the delivery fellas to take it down the steps for me. Ha! The power of a cool Guinness Stout, don’t cha know….

Good to know, but my findings are conflicting. I did some research and the z3200 44” is listed on HP’s shopping web site.

According to this link, HP has listed the z3200 as discontinued in the Caribbean (“HP Jamaica”)  but not elsewhere……..….that I found…………………..


Anyone else see a reference to this?

The only Z3200 44" version available at the moment is the PS version. Q6721A  This model doesn't have any current discounts on it.  The IPF8400 has the printer trade-in ($400 for a qualified 17" or 24" printer) and ($800 for a qualified 36" or wider printer).  Plus, Canon has a $1000 Mail-in.  After all discounts (if trading in largest model), it would be just over $3000 and if you refer to our company regarding this post, we can waive the lift gate service if you decide you need the assistance.
