More photos from southwest Portugal coast.
« on: November 26, 2012, 04:19:30 am »

Good morning,

I often go to this location, about 10 km south of Milfontes. These shots are from early November. There were some showers, but ocasionally some light would make it through the clouds. These are some photos from an afternoon session. Hope you like it.

Gear was EOS 7D, EF 10-22 lens, tripod, and Singh-Ray graduated filter (#1 and #2).

Kind regards.

Very nice set. I'm split between #2 and #3 for my favorite. I find the sky a bit dark in #2 (especially vs the lower right rocky outcrop).

All good.
I like the skies and seas in #1 and 2. They might be even stronger of one half was emphasized. The two elements compete for attention with the horizon close to the centre.

ummm#1 and 2 for me, they are good in colour but i think a conversion may work particularly well for those cracking sky's?

The first two are gorgeous!

The third is darn good as well; just remove the red whatever’s in the water, tiny bit distracting.
The last is just so so.

I love big dark foreboding sky shots, gives you that I am glad I am warm and comfy feeling right where I am at, now let’s just set back and wait this weather out.
