facemount our prints to aluminum or bamboo
« on: November 22, 2012, 01:49:05 pm »

http://www.flickr.com/photos/bumblejax/6238867916/

I have a vew images that would look nice mounted this way...

How can we do this work, ourselves.  I have looked into this in the twin cities - and only one shop seems to do this - very expensive - and if i wish to sell these prints - no meat left on the bone...

I also like the bamboo face mounts i have seen on the www...

What do folks do here for contemporary and modern photo mounting?

I have lots of room - and all the time i need to learn technique - Limited funds

the more of this mounting work i can learn / perfect for my self - i can better bring my images fwd in the way i wish for them to be seen!

Huge thanks

www.plywerk.com for mounting to bamboo panels. They'll either do it for you or you can order the blanks with adhesive and do it yourself.

Here's my blog entry on my experience with the Plywerk product: http://www.danecreek.com/blog/2011/12/20/plywerk-mounting-panel-review.html.
