Dual-Sided Papers for Greeting Cards
« on: November 21, 2012, 11:36:19 am »

Do you have any experience creating greeting cards from dual-sided fine art paper? A little discouraged with the process of printing the 7x10 Red River card blanks on our 4900, I'm considering an attempt at Hahnemühle Photo Rag Duo 276 g/m2 in large sheets, with subsequent cutting and scoring to create 5x7 cards. There is no question this will be a lot more work than using Red River's pre-fab product. Any insights on the method, whether you need to score one card at a time, and any two-sided papers that might make a better folded card?

Some related points were already made in this thread:

Use the Museo Inkjet Artist cards (usually large) on a 3800. Works wonderfully, great qualty -- but feed 1/time, so low volume only.
