Made a quick visit to Elgol on Skye yesterday.

A tad clichéd maybe but it's hard to resist a view like this early in the morning.

Lots of good light in this one. Effective water, too. I like it.

Odd, but I don't like the water at all. I would either want it nicely detailed and dharp or flowing more as with a big stopper, long exposure...but I find this water too incongruent to the rest of the scene. Lovely everything else.

I like it but my eyes keep jumping from the reddish light from the distant hills and back to the flowing water in the foreground. I have yet to make up my minds whether this ping-pong effect is bad or not (might be me only)!

Me, too.  The image seems to contain two separate competing elements.  I love the water and distant rock.  The water's competition for it, IMHO.

At first, I was worried I was gonna get wet feet.  : )
