High volume de-rolling

I am printing photos for upcoming international exhibition of photography. In last 10 days I run 180 meters of paper through my Z3100 without any problem. Problem that I encounter was de-rolling such huge number of photos. One by one is time consuming, especially with "plastic" photo paper that just don't want to straighten easily. I find solution: two studio lighting stands, two super clamps, spare spindle from printer and cardboard tube from old paper roll (finally I find something useful for that things). During printing I just winding the prints in opposite directions (cutter in printer was turned off), and let it stay that way for a day. It straighten paper wonderfully. My method for longer print runs. There is a penalty in more manual cutting but on the other hand you can speed up printing too. With wind up spindles of Epson you can reverse the wind up direction and get the same result, the Canon iPF9000 wind up spindle does not have that choice, it could be that more recent models have that choice too. I do not have any of that but use 6" carton cores on a roller bed and transfer stronger curled papers to another core later on.
