i think the composition is pretty good however I feel the image is a little flat

I had a fiddle in LR3

>>add a little magenta to balance the WB... looks tooooo green this end

>>added a whisker of exposure (-.14

>>add a little black (+9

>>Clarity (+50)

>>used the curves tool to add some contrast

Thank you for your remarks and suggestions.

This is the green of the tropical monsoon, and it is VERY green.  In that part of the world this situation prevails for around 3 months (June, July, August) of the year.

On my calibrated monitor, the image looks just right (to me) and comports with the interpretation I had in mind.  That said, I see the images in my blog posts as a 'first draft' and often revisit them.

I wasn't referring to WB BTW...... Just the overall greenness without two many other colours to add contrast
