The AGO is having an exhibition of prints by Josef Sudek. I was at a members preview on Sunday and would highly recommend the show to anyone how will be in or near Toronto.
<<Czech photographer Josef Sudek is regarded as one of the legendary photographers of the twentieth century with a career that has stretched over sixty years. His photographs transformed ordinary subjects into timeless visual poems, creating a unique world of his own.
The exhibition, located on the main level of the Gallery, presents 175 photographs selected from the AGO’s collection, spanning Sudek's entire career, and takes you on a complex autobiographical journey through his art, life and indomitable spirit.
