5D Mark III tethered
« on: September 27, 2012, 06:36:02 pm »

What is your setup for 5D Mark III tethered?

I love Lightroom, but it is not yet supported.

I love the idea of Capture Pilot, but I have a demo version of Capture (latest version) and it is not working tethered.

The only way I found to use capture pilot is to shoot via EOS Capture and select the target folder with Capture One...

Same thing applies to the latest OSX 10.8.X.

This is your problem - not Capture One itself. Once Canon updates their SDK to be compatible with the latest OS updates Capture One can be updated to include it and all will be well again.

I haven't tried shooting tethered but .cr2 files from the 5D Mark III are definitely supported by Lightroom 4.1

I just use eos utility and C1 it's stable and now I'm used to running the 2 together I'm quite happy with it. I hope tethering is fixed in C1-7. I have not upgraded to the latest 10.8. In case it has changed something.
