How to compare papers without buying?

Are there any websites (or pages) that are dedicated to the task of comparing papers used to print on?
At the very least I'm looking for something that allows me to compare dMax and the "whiteness" of various papers.

The best way to compare papers, much of which is very subjective, is to buy sample packs and try them on your printer with its inks.
For Dmax and other data try:
http://www.dygartphotography.com/papertestcharts/002rrpm2880.html
also:
http://www.aardenburg-imaging.com/index.html
and Ernst’s spectral analysis is very useful:
http://www.pigment-print.com/spectralplots/spectrumviz_1.htm
Especially indicative of OBA content
But a few sample packs will give you more idea visually, and let’s face it, it is all about the visuals.

You may find my inkjet paper list useful. I haven't updated it in quite a while but much of the fundamental information is unchanged.
