Pelli cases
« on: September 17, 2012, 04:28:41 am »

Could anyone suggest the smallest size Pelli case that will take a GH2 with 14-140 attached, a 20/1.7 and spare battery/cards.
Purpose is to protect camera from elements when sailing/canoeing, so will get some rough treatment not to mention salt water showers.

I can recommend the waterproof bags from Ortlieb . They are quite sturdy and have some thick padding on the inside. Should be sufficient for all types of sailing unless you are talking about the Volvo Ocean Race or 18-footers at gale force  ;)

Hi Nigel,

Have you tried their case calculator?

18-footers at gale force

Well not quite gale force but in a steep sea its likely to get thrown hard against an unyielding part of the boat.
