Thanks Stefan and Gerald,

That 17mm shot is really impressive!
The guys at work saw me checking it out at lunch time, they did not think too much of it until I went to 100%

David

check the distortion of that image - THERE IS NEARLY NONE !
and I swear I have not messed around with it with some tool !
Opened in Capture One a bit sharpening the borders mostly, some devignetting and there you go !

Wow interesting stuff. Stefan, how much tilt can be applied using the Canon 24mm TS lens on an 80MP back? What do you think is the advantage of Hartblei camera vs the Alpa FPS?

The Canon TS-E 24mm V2 Lens has a Tilt of 8,5 degrees.
As this does not even move much(it´s tilting neatly close to the main point of the lens) you can use the tilt for full, butof course it may be that on the large chip the outer
areas my not be of superior quality on a full tilt.

The HCam is having a motorized slider, includes all adapters cables and even the viewfinder, so you can start shooting right away if you have a lens and a back.
The FPS Is an ALPA and needs to be configured to what you want with several adapters front , back, probably cabling which may add to the system price.
But nobody knows this one right now.

BTW everybody can now see our new Hartblei Sidefocus 4/120mm Macro- Optics by Carl Zeiss mounted on the ALPA FPS on the Photokina Hall 2.1 Booth B21.

Greetings from right now Cologne

The ALPA FPS has got the folks over at ALPA really excited.

ALPA has recognized that many shooters have more than one rig for imaging. This system opens up a whole new realm of possibilities.
