Photoshop CS6 plus Wacom Intuos4 behaviour

Since using CS6 I have strange issues with my Wacom tablet. It has become pretty sluggish in the sense that sometimes strokes do not apply (causing me to do them more than once) but the most annoying part is the fact my cursor disappears often in which case I need to tab out and into PS again to get my cursor back.
I am wondering whether there are more people seeing this? It is very annoying. Sofar Wacom has remained silent on the issue, Apple points towards both Wacom and Adobe and Adobe points back at Apple and Wacom
I am about to upgrade the Intuos4 towards a 5 just to have a chance to get this resolved.

I have not seen anything like this with the Intuos 4, but I run Win 7 and it sounds like you are on a Mac.
