It's been in the works for quite a while and was pushed back several times. Looking like a release by the end of this month and will be operated by SilverFast software. This scanner looks like it has some nice features and is a direct competitor to the Nikon 9000. I really like the looks of the film frame where you can place the divider wherever the actual divide on the film frame is (with MF it varies a good amount). Plustek seems like a very good company, I've been in contact with them several times and have received prompt replies. I'll personally be checking this out as a possible replacement to my phenomenal (and at sometimes a bit quirky) Nikon 9000. With my 9000 I use the glass carrier and get great results. Wet mounting is not a concern for me at all. The Plustek doesn't have a focusing lens, though so it'll be interesting to see real world results or if it has enough depth of field to take a bit of curve in the film with stride.
