Mamiya current support for older Mamiya's
« on: September 04, 2012, 12:35:32 am »

I hope to be a soon proud owner of a Mamiya RB67 S Pro system with goodies.  I know Mamiya as a company has evolved and some kind of relationship with Leaf (?).  Is there still good support, thinking repairs here, for older Mamiya's.  Are there any issues I should be aware of as I enter into the Mamiya system.

I've been an SLR and DSLR type since 1973, I thought I would take a run at MF for Landscape photos.  I'm quite happy with the DSLR's I have but I thought before film finally bowed out (good bye Kodak), I wanted to dabble in MF in film without having to get a second mortgage for the digital back.

Any thoughts?

The RB is still listed on Mamiya Japan's site, Japanese only: http://mamiya.co.jp/products/rb67prosd/index.html
