When I was a little shaver I remember seeing an advert that used the wild horses of the region.
I cannot remember what the advert was selling but I do vividly remember the beauty of the Camargue and those horses.

This shot is right up there as perhaps the best image in its genre that I have ever seen.

Congratulations

It's a good photo that has the unusual quality of putting the viewer in motion, which adds quite a bit of excitement.  There are dozens of horse photos in Santa Fe galleries right now, none works as well as this.

Unreasonable improvement requests might include closer, lower, wider.  And it might be that a drier version would be preferable from a sales point of view, there is a certain discomfort about the wet thing.  But I'm working hard to come up with these unworthy complaints.

Always loved those semi-wild horses.  Great depiction!

All I can add is more of the same: beautiful shot in all respects.

It's the kind of image that makes a drive to the Camargue seem reasonable, even though it means negotiating Barcelona's first roundabout at the ferry terminal; get into the wrong lane there and you'll drive in circles until the tank hits Empty.

Who needs 'westerns'?

Magnificent, Marco - both the beasts and the shot. Congratulations.

It is superb. It could be improved with some stones in the foreground, and a long exposure on the water, giving that ubiquitous creamy water effect. And a sunset in the background. But otherwise, it's perfect.  ;)

BTW, have you thought about a monochrome conversion? It's almost there as it is.

And a lighthouse, Bill?

Stunning photo, even as it is.

Very nice image. Maybe a B&W conversion ,just to see how it looks ? I only wish the one horses' head closer to the horizon line had crossed the line a tiny bit .

I love La Camargue,my favorite marshland
