I like it a lot.  There's a lot of tension in the composition.  AND it has a model and everything! :)

Thanks. The dappled dog in that dappled light seemed a good match

It's good, but would be better a) taken on a D800, and b) with a lighthouse, some foreground rocks & long-exposure on the sea, with a sunset in the background. Apparently.

I really like this image Michael. I like the positioning of the dappling..and love the angle of the light and the way the shadows create replications of elements. The shadow of the dog is beautifully positioned.

What a wonderful narrative that even when walking the dog one can't be detatched from one's phone... texting?? surfing?? emailing??

Cool shot Michael. Nice clean lines and the light works great. Well done!

I hoping to recapture the "event" with the fortchcoming 4D MK I.. rumored to be a 53 Megabyte wonder replete with voice recognition

Without at least a 5 exposure blending and HDR treatment, it's just lacks a certain Ken Rockwell 'pop'.
