If you have wifi, an iPhone 4s and a printer, and you have something on the phone such as text in the browser, or a photograph, then if you get the low cost program called "Finger Print", you can get your printer to print from anywhere the phone can access your wifi.
It works with my B & W laser and also my Canon ipf6100 when using roll media. I'm nothing to do with Fingerprint or Canon but find the ability to quickly run a reference print from whichever room I'm in quite useful.
Computer must be on and printers in stand-by.
