iPad Retina display
« on: August 01, 2012, 11:13:30 am »

I recently purchased an iPad with the new Retina display. I am noticing that the tonality across the screen is not even. The end near the power button has a slight pinkish cast.

I shot a white backdrop, as well as a light gray backdrop -- the tonal shift is evident when I look at either on the iPad. Do I have the right to be concerned about this, or is the technology not perfected?

Haven't seen something similar on mine, nor in the store.

Perhaps you could visit a local Apple store or outlet and check the iPads on display?

If you can host those pictures somewhere on the web, maybe someone on here with a new iPad can look at them for you Or you could go to an Apple store and view the web images there.
