ColorMunki Display ADC
« on: July 31, 2012, 04:29:30 pm »

Has anyone had any luck using the ADC (Automatic Display Control) in the ColorMunki Display Preferences?

When I check it, and try to calibrate my Dell U2410 it winds my brightness up to 100% and reduces contrast to 0%. It seems to work OK if I uncheck and set manually.

Yes, I use it with ADC checked on my HP LP2475w.  It winds the brightness control in the monitor up, but achieves my specified brightness of 100cd/m2.  Checking the resulting calibration/profiling performance with Colorimetre HCFR it seems to produce a reasonable calibration (better than the Eye One Display 2 I used to use).  However, I've not tried it without ADC checked, so I can't tell you how it compares!
