I've come accross some Silk Route references here, most of them 'travel' and 'architecture' minded. Not to deminish those two, I've put together more of a 'landscape' page. I traveled around Kyrgystan last month, just wanted to share the beauty of those places in a
blog.
They've started to offer some nice tours around that country, pretty well organized. Should you opt for traveling in a group (something I would recommend these days vs going there alone) I'm sure you can google something. Well worth it!
