I am currently running my LR4.1 Catalog on an external USB 3 drive via the new MacBook Pro Retina 2.6 I7 with 16GB DDR 3 Ram.
My question is anyone running their catalog via a Thunderbolt External Drive?
If so did you find it worth the investment for the Thunderbolt Drive?
Currently looking at the Western Digital 4TB My Thunderbolt Duo Dual-Drive Storage System or the 6TB Drive.
From my understanding you are able to run these drives either in Raid 0 or 1.
I assume you lose some of the speed it you run in Raid 1?
