Can you copy, NOT move, an image to another folder?

Yes.

I recently and accidentally found that if you hold the CTRL key while dragging an image to another folder it allows you to copy/duplicate it instead of moving it. I've been trying to do this for ages, no mention of it anywhere in the manual, online or anywhere that I have previously looked. Is this common knowledge and I'm the last one to figure this out? It's some thing I've struggled with for ages.

I can't find any references to copying or duplicating an image anywhere (only copying adjustments).

In OSX the option key is a copy rather than move. Works in C1 (just as well as it works in any other software that follows the OSX conventions).

That seems reasonable.
